Senior Accountant Job in Stirling

Puro Associates are working with a small and friendly accountancy practice in Stirling on their search for a Senior Accountant. One of the current partners are looking to step back/retire in a couple of years so they are seeking some with extensive knowledge who is confident to hit the ground running and looking/would be open to becoming partner in a couple of years.

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in the firm, focusing on year-end accounts production and corporation tax compliance.
Key responsibilities of a Senior Accountant include:
- Managing/supporting junior members of staff.
- Client meetings and liaising with HMRC
- Handling corporation tax and returns
- Preparation and reviewing of statutory and management accounts
What we are looking for in a Senior Accountant:
- Fully ICAS or ACCA/ACA Qualified (QBE candidates may be considered)
- Experience in a leadership role within a UK Practice is essential.
- Good knowledge of all around accounts and tax.
