About the Senior Accountant Job:
- Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
- Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.
The Ideal Candidate for the Senior Accountant Job Will Have:
- 3 years UK practice experience is essential
- Excellent organisational abilities & great attention to detail
- Competent in producing statutory accounts using FRS 102
- Ideally qualified in either AAT, ACA, ACCA, or QBE
- Be an ambassador for the firm and maintain client relationships
- Hold strong expertise in software such as: Xero, Iris, FreeAgent and Sage
