Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE + Benefits
A well-established and reputable accountancy practice in Wolverhampton is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join its growing team. As a Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will take charge of a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality year-end accounts, tax compliance, and business advisory services. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Completion of corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Reviewing and mentoring junior team members
- Managing and developing long-standing client relationships
- Liaising with HMRC and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the firm
The Ideal Senior Accountant Will Have:
- ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Previous experience in a similar Senior Accountant role within a practice setting
- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
