A growing and well-established law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor who enjoys high-quality work, building strong client relationships and playing an active role in the continued growth of a successful Corporate & Commercial department.

The Role
You will handle a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, acting for a varied client base and providing commercially focused advice.
Your work will include:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- Demergers
- Joint ventures
- Commercial contracts and agreements
- Employee share schemes
- General corporate and commercial advisory work
You will take responsibility for your own matters from start to finish, ensuring clients receive practical, commercially aware advice and a consistently high level of service.
The role will also involve supporting more junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continued development of the department.
Business Development
An important part of the role will be developing and strengthening client and professional relationships.
You will be encouraged to:
- Build relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Develop professional referral networks
- Attend networking and industry events
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- 5+ years' PQE or equivalent experience
- A strong background in Corporate & Commercial law
- Experience handling a broad range of transactional matters
- Strong commercial awareness and sound technical ability
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- The confidence to manage matters independently
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues
- A proactive approach to business development
- Ambition to develop their career within a growing team
