Serious Injury Solicitor
Location: Liverpool + Manchester Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: (£40,000 - £45,000) + Benefits
We are working on behalf of a highly regarded law firm that is seeking a Qualified Solicitor to join its specialist Serious Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a challenging and rewarding caseload while contributing to the development of colleagues.
The Role
As part of the team, you will manage a caseload of intermediate and multi-track claims, progressing cases efficiently and cost-effectively from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a portfolio of intermediate track cases and assisting the team lead on complex multi-track matters
- Supporting the team lead with the supervision and development of junior employees within the team
- Attending client meetings, conferences, and hearings where appropriate, representing clients with professionalism and expertise
- Liaising with clients by phone and in person to provide clear updates and ensure excellent client care
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all client and firm documentation
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in undertaking additional duties where required
About you as a Serious Injury Solicitor
- Qualified Solicitor with serious injury experience
- Strong knowledge of the intermediate track and proven ability to manage cases effectively to conclusion
- Experience assisting on multi-track matters and working collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to team development
- Confidence to represent clients at hearings where you hold rights of audience and have the necessary expertise
