AAT Qualified Accountant
Salary: £28,000 - £43,000 (DOE)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an AAT Qualified Accountant to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to further develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting and tax responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
- Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients and providing day-to-day accounting support
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Supporting senior team members with client assignments and ad hoc projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements:
- AAT Qualified (Level 4) or equivalent
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts preparation and VAT
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A proactive and client-focused approach
