Puro Associates are excited to be supporting an Independent accountancy practice based in Bishop Auckland on their search for a Qualified Accountant. This is a friendly and dedicated team looking to expand. Responsibilities of an Accountant:
- Preparation of interim, statutory and non-statutory accounts for various different owner managed businesses and charities.
- General Bookkeeping duties.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- VAT returns
- Personal Tax Responsibilities
What our ideal Accountant will have:
- ACCA or ACA Qualified – Must Have!
- At least 3 years’ experience within a UK Accountancy Practice as an Accountant or similar role.
- Charity accounts would be desirable but training can be provided.
