Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:
- Manage clients' bookkeeping, providing affordable outsourcing solutions
- VAT returns and Self Assessments
- Updating client records and files
- Liaising with clients and HMRC, resolving any issues, answering any queries and delivering a proactive service.
- Prepare and review annual accounts.
- Provide support for better decision-making based on financial insights.
- Handle payroll tasks, ensuring compliance and saving time and money.
What we are looking for in our ideal Accounts Assistant:
- At least 2-3 years of experience within a UK Accountancy Practice.
- AAT/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
- Experience with Iris, Xero and Sage Payroll is desirable.
