Accounts Manager – Accountancy Practice
Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Stamford, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to manage a varied client portfolio, oversee the delivery of accounts and tax services, and support the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships and oversee a portfolio of accounts.
• Review statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior staff.
• Allocate workloads, monitor deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Liaise with clients and senior management on technical matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Previous accountancy practice experience at Senior or Manager level.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client management skills.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.
