Are you an experienced Accounts Senior looking to take the next step with an established and growing accountancy practice?
Our client is an independent, forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality accountancy and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of businesses and individuals.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Senior to join a supportive team, take ownership of a varied client portfolio and continue developing their technical and commercial skills.
The Role
As an Accounts Senior, you will work closely with clients and colleagues across a broad range of accounts and advisory work, including:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SME clients
- Preparing management accounts and financial information
- Completing VAT returns and other associated compliance work
- Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting and financial matters
- Assisting with personal and corporation tax compliance
- Reviewing accounts prepared by junior members of the team
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and support
- Assisting with more complex accounts and advisory assignments
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an accountancy practice and be comfortable managing a varied portfolio of clients.
You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or have equivalent practical experience, with a strong understanding of accounts preparation and general practice work.
