Puro Associates are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in the Burnley area in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.
This Senior Accountant job, will play a crucial role in working with a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services and financial guidance.

As a Senior Accountant you will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
• Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
• Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.

As a Senior Accountant your will have the following experience:

• ACCA or ACA qualified
• Will need ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Hold strong experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting and Taxation software
• Friendly disposition and a team player
• Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
