Puro Associates are currently recruiting for a Accounts Senior to join a well established Accounts team on behalf of a highly regarded charted firm in the Rochdale area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven accounts professional looking to advance their career within a dynamic and forward thinking firm.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Senior Job:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
• Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
• Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.

Requirements of the Accounts Senior Job:

• ACCA or ACA qualified (Nearing Qualification or QBE will be considered)
• Will need ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Hold strong experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting and Taxation software
• Friendly disposition and a team player
• Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
