The Role:
The Accounts Senior will be responsible for:
- Preparing and finalising accounts for a variety of clients
- Completing VAT returns within agreed deadlines
- Undertaking bookkeeping tasks as required
- Identifying and suggesting improvements to client systems and processes
- Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries in a professional manner
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
You:
To be considered for the Accounts Senior position, you should:
- Hold an AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification (QBE will also be considered)
- Have at least four years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to manage their own time effectively and handle a busy workload
- Audit experience would be beneficial, though not essential
