Puro Associates is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Liverpool in their quest for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities for the Audit & Accounts Senior Job include:

• Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services
• Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Leading audits from planning through to completion
• Supervising and providing feedback to audit assistants
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development
• Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations
• Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement

For the Audit & Accounts Senior Job, candidates should possess:

• Ideally an ACCA or ACA qualification, with preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy firm
• Consideration will also be given to Part-qualified individuals or those who are QBE
• Profound technical proficiency in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, and other Accounting and Taxation software
• Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
