Responsibilities of an Accounts Senior –
- Preparation of accounts – Using Sage Xero, QuickBooks etc
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Supervising, training and mentoring more junior members of staff.
- Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
- Dealing with queries raised and being the point of contact for ad hoc queries.
What are we looking for in an Accounts Senior –
- ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified of QBE
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a UK Accountancy Practice.
- Experience of preparation of year end accounts for owner-managed small to medium business, limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Be driven and proactive, ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets.
