As an Audit Assistant, you’ll be integral to the smooth delivery of audits for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of audits for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Perform testing on financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Help prepare working papers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
• Support senior auditors in completing audits.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve any queries.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality, in line with regulatory and firm standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must have at least 1 years experience working in audit in a UK accountancy practice
• Degree in Accounting, Finance is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• ACA/ACCA studiers ideal but not essential.
