About the Role
Our client, a well-established accountancy practice based in South Dublin, is seeking an Audit Associate to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual at an early stage of their audit career who is looking to gain strong hands-on experience within a supportive and professional practice environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers on a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments
• Performing audit testing and fieldwork
• Preparing sections of statutory financial statements
• Working with client records and supporting file completion
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
• Supporting Audit Seniors and Managers on assignments
• Ensuring work is completed in line with audit standards and deadlines

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice is desirable (audit experience preferred)
• Part-qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA (or intending to start)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
