Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients
- Leading audit engagements and overseeing fieldwork
- Reviewing year-end statutory accounts
- Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and audit regulations
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Supporting partners with workflow management and business growth initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes and internal efficiencies
Candidate Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- MUST hold a valid UK practising certificate/licence
- MUST have Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Confident managing audits independently from planning to completion
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong leadership ability with a proactive approach
- Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
