Puro Associates are recruiting for an Audit Manager to join a chartered firm of ours based in Berwick-upon-Tweed that offer a range of accountancy services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager seeking a new challenge within a friendly atmosphere or an Audit Senior seeking the next steps in their professional career.

Responsibilities of an Audit Manager include but are not limited to:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio ensuring the best high quality audit and assurance services.
- Managing audits from planning to completion.
- Monitoring the progression of audit assignments including budget and timeframes.
- Assisting and supporting junior members of staff and monitoring the workload. As well as coaching and mentoring other members of the audit department.
- Stay updated on UK and International GAAS, IFRS,UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
What we are looking for in an ideal Audit Manager:
- Fully ACA/ACCA/ICAS Qualified or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an Audit Manager or similar role.
- Experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
- Supervisory or manager-level experience.
- Proven record of monitoring the entire audit process and leading audit assignments.
