About the Role:
A growing accountancy practice in Shrewsbury is seeking an Audit Senior to join their professional team. This role is perfect for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA professional ready to advance their audit career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and complete audits efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all audit work complies with regulatory standards
- Lead specific audit assignments under manager guidance
- Identify and escalate any issues or risks to management
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Confident in leading audits and managing client interactions
- Strong technical knowledge with attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
- Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach
