Audit Senior
My client is currently recruiting a full-time Audit Senior based in Tralee.
The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role within practice
• A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in audit within practice
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
• Strong technical ability
• Strong IT skills, including experience with accounting and audit software
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build teams and manage client relationships effectively

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering an efficient, high-quality audit and accounting service to a portfolio of clients, including audits, large SMEs, and third-party reporting engagements
• Ensuring overall compliance of the audit and accounts function in line with relevant standards
• Mentoring, training, developing, and supervising members of the audit team
• Communicating effectively with partners, clients, and internal teams
• Conducting audits of SME companies, including those reporting to regulatory bodies
• Preparing financial statements for larger audit-exempt companies
• Providing technical support to the accounting and audit team
• Preparing and presenting reports to clients and partners as required
• Handling ad hoc queries from clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
