The Opportunity
A growing independent accountancy practice in Northampton is seeking an Audit Senior to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for greater responsibility, client exposure and career progression within a modern, flexible practice.
The role will involve:
- Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Working with a varied portfolio of SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Auditing medium-sized companies under FRS 102
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Managing workloads to ensure deadlines are met
- Working closely with managers and contributing to a high-quality service
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Audit Senior experience within accountancy practice
- ACA/ACCA qualification or part-qualification
- Strong technical audit knowledge, including FRS 102
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- Ambition to progress within a growing audit team
Experience in statutory accounts and corporation tax would be advantageous but is not essential.
