Puro Associates is excited to be partnering with a reputable accountancy firm based in Wakefield. Join our client’s firm as a detail-oriented Bookkeeper, where your meticulous and organisational skills will make a significant impact on their financial operations.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate records, contributing to the overall success the firm. If you thrive in an energetic environment and are passionate about accountancy, this opportunity is tailored for you.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records for clients bookkeeping
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts.
- Manage and process payroll, including tax and other deductions.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Communicate with clients regarding financial matters and respond to their queries in a timely manner
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Accountancy practice experience preferred
- Bookkeeping and payroll experience key
- Deliver high-quality work independently or collaboratively.
- Interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
