Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice
Location: Exmouth
Salary: maximum of £32,000 (DOE)
We are a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Exmouth, who are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
Managing your own portfolio of clients
Preparing bookkeeping records up to trial balance
Completing and submitting VAT returns and CIS returns
Assisting clients with meeting deadlines and compliance requirements
Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts (where required)
Acting as a point of contact for client queries and providing day-to-day support
About You
Previous experience within practice is essential
Strong knowledge of VAT returns and compliance
Experience using software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
Desireable qualifications are AAT / IAB / ICB qualified or part-qualified. We will also accept applications from candidates that are qualified by experience.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive approach
