About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our thriving team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a broad and varied caseload, taking full ownership from initial instruction through to successful resolution.
You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, SMEs, and larger organisations, providing clear, practical, and strategic legal advice. The role offers a high level of autonomy within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes
  • Handle matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including court proceedings and advocacy (where appropriate)
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients via written communication, telephone, and meetings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development through networking, marketing, and internal referrals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and risk management procedures
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Participate in CPD, webinars, podcasts, and marketing initiatives
  • Represent the firm at networking, charity, and community events

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Broad experience in civil and commercial disputes
  • Strong commercial awareness (experience in commercial or insolvency litigation desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills with a flexible and reliable approach
  • Knowledge of Lexcel standards (desirable but not essential)
