Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated Practice Accountant to join an established firm, in their Southport office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.

About the Role:

• Manage your own varied portfolio of SME and owner managed clients
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with your clients
• Lead client meetings and be the main point of contact
• Prepare and review end of year accounts for sole-traders, limited companies and partnerships
• Prepare corporate tax returns and provide tax planning
• Review work from junior members of staff
• Directly support directors

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• ACCA or ACA Qualified
• 5+ years practice experience essential
• Experience with Xero
• Excellent organisational abilities & great attention to detail
• Able to manage a portfolio of clients
