Construction Solicitor (3–7 PQE)

A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor (3–7 years’ PQE) to join its expanding team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to work on a broad range of non-contentious and/or contentious construction matters, depending on experience, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on construction contracts and project documentation
- Drafting and negotiating building contracts, appointments, and collateral warranties
- Advising on JCT and NEC contract suites
- Handling construction-related disputes (where applicable)
- Supporting developers, contractors, funders, and consultants
- Working on high-value residential and commercial development projects
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to progress matters efficiently
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 3–7 years’ PQE in construction law
- Experience in contentious, non-contentious, or mixed construction work
- Strong technical knowledge of construction contracts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage matters independently and work within a team
