Construction Solicitor (3–7 PQE)
Location: Manchester
Permenant

A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor (3–7 years’ PQE) to join its expanding team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to work on a broad range of non-contentious and/or contentious construction matters, depending on experience, within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on construction contracts and project documentation
  • Drafting and negotiating building contracts, appointments, and collateral warranties
  • Advising on JCT and NEC contract suites
  • Handling construction-related disputes (where applicable)
  • Supporting developers, contractors, funders, and consultants
  • Working on high-value residential and commercial development projects
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to progress matters efficiently

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 3–7 years’ PQE in construction law
  • Experience in contentious, non-contentious, or mixed construction work
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage matters independently and work within a team
