Puro Associates are currently working with a leading national and well-established specialist law firm that is looking to appoint experienced solicitors to join its growing Consultant network.
This opportunity is ideal for senior lawyers who have built strong expertise within their area of law and have an established client following, but who want to move away from the traditional law firm model and have a better work-life balance. You will have the freedom to focus on fee earning and client relationships, while benefiting from the infrastructure, compliance and support of an established legal practice.

The Role
As a Consultant Solicitor, you will have significant autonomy over how you manage your practice, with the flexibility to work remotely or from an office when required. You will be able to:
- Work on a fee-share basis, set your own fees and manage your financial objectives
- Manage your own caseload and client relationships
- Continue to practise within your established area of expertise
- Develop and grow your own client base
- Benefit from a generous fee-share arrangement
- Receive referrals and opportunities for additional work
- Work flexibly without traditional billing targets
- Focus on legal work and client service rather than management responsibilities
- Access professional, administrative, compliance and accounts support
- Work alongside experienced legal professionals across a range of specialist areas
About You
- 5+ years PQE and a current practising certificate
- Strong experience within your particular area of law
- A proven track record of delivering excellent client outcomes
- An established client following or demonstrable ability to generate work
- Strong client care and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational abilities
- The ability to manage your own caseload independently
- A professional, commercially aware and entrepreneurial approach
