Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Bonus

An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy property department in Macclesfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing who is looking to join a modern, technology-driven team with strong support, quality work, and genuine career development opportunities.
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining exceptional levels of client service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction process
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including AML and client due diligence procedures
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
- Maintaining accurate file management and case progression records
- Working effectively within established workflows and case management systems
- Contributing to departmental performance objectives and service standards
About You
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Excellent client care, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to case management
- High level of IT proficiency and confidence working within digital systems and processes
Desirable
- Experience using legal case management systems
- Experience working within a high-volume conveyancing environment
- Familiarity with digital onboarding and document automation platforms
