Junior Conveyancer / Residential Property Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Junior Conveyancer / Residential Property Paralegal to join a busy and growing Residential Property team based in Altrincham.
This role is ideal for someone with previous conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive legal environment. You will work closely with experienced conveyancers and solicitors, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of residential property transactions.
For candidates aspiring to qualify as a solicitor, this position offers a genuine opportunity to be considered for a Training Contract, subject to performance and business needs.
The Role
You will assist with the progression of residential conveyancing matters while developing your technical knowledge and practical experience within a successful property department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
- Conducting searches and obtaining title documentation
- Assisting with exchanges, completions, and post-completion matters
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day file progression
- Delivering high levels of client care and communication throughout the transaction process
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Residential Property Paralegal, or Junior Conveyancer
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and professional approach to work
- Strong IT skills, including experience using case management systems
Desirable
- Experience assisting with freehold and leasehold transactions
- LPC, SQE, Law Degree, or equivalent legal qualifications
- Ambition to qualify as a Solicitor
