Criminal Solicitor – Bromley
SalaryThis full-time position offers a chance to grow within a supportive team that handles a wide range of criminal matters. As a Criminal Solicitor, you’ll provide expert legal representation and advocacy, managing your own files while benefiting from a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of criminal defence matters including theft, assault, drug offences, and public order cases
- Represent clients in the Magistrates’ Court and prepare cases for higher courts
- Deliver high-quality legal advice throughout all stages of proceedings
- Liaise with clients, barristers, and professionals to ensure a joined-up approach
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft strong legal arguments
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all cases
The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a passionate Criminal Solicitor with:
- 1–3 years PQE in criminal law
- A solid grasp of criminal procedure and legal frameworks
- Confidence to manage a caseload independently and effectively
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- A proactive and organised approach to managing deadlines under pressure
- A genuine commitment to justice and client representation
