Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of criminal law matters, including police station attendance, magistrates' court advocacy.
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in various criminal law matters
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in criminal law and procedure
• Prepare and present cases in court, representing clients with professionalism and integrity
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure the highest quality legal representation for our clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
• Proven experience in managing a caseload of criminal law matters
• Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure
• Excellent advocacy and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the legal profession
