Salary: Around £45,000 (DOE)

Job Type
- Attending police stations and Magistrates’ Courts as a Duty Solicitor
- Managing a caseload of criminal defence matters
- Advising clients on a wide range of offences
- Preparing cases for court, including drafting legal documents
- Liaising with counsel, courts and other key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with legal aid and regulatory requirements
- Providing excellent client care in often sensitive situations
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with Duty Solicitor accreditation
- Experience in criminal defence work
- Confident representing clients in court and at the police station
- Strong advocacy, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused with a professional and empathetic approach
