An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing Employment Law team within a well-established and ambitious legal practice based in Shrewsbury.
This role offers a blend of supporting senior colleagues and running your own caseload across both contentious and non-contentious matters, with exposure to work for both claimants and respondents.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly qualified Solicitor with up to 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Employment Law. You'll handle a varied caseload and work closely with a supportive team of legal experts known for their commercial approach and client-first mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on a range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious
- Managing multiple cases simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrating excellent file management and client care
- Attending networking and business development events to support the team’s growth
About You:
- You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys direct client contact and thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience advising on both claimant and respondent matters
- A proactive, commercial outlook with a focus on achieving client objectives
- A willingness to contribute to the team’s wider marketing and BD initiatives
