Family Solicitor (NQ – 3 Years PQE)
Full-Time | Hybrid Working Available
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Family Solicitor to join a growing and supportive legal team specialising in privately funded and legal aid family matters.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for family law, strong client care skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed caseload of family matters including:
  • Divorce and financial remedy matters
  • Private children matters
  • Public children matters
  • Non-Molestation Orders
  • Occupation Orders
• Handling legal aid matters and use of the legal aid portal
• Navigating and managing matters via the HMCTS portal
• Drafting legal documents including:
  • Client care letters
  • Witness statements
  • Court forms and applications
• Maintaining accurate case records using case management systems
• Providing excellent client service and maintaining professional standards

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ – 3 years PQE)
• Experience in Family Law
• Experience handling legal aid family matters
• Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
• Additional language skills would be advantageous
