The Role
As a Residential Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential property matters, providing a high-quality service to clients from instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload
- Handling transactions from initial instruction through to completion
- Providing clear, professional and commercially aware advice to clients
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties
- Ensuring matters progress efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate and compliant files
- Managing competing priorities within a busy environment
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Contributing towards the continued growth and success of the residential property team
About You
We are looking for an experienced and confident residential conveyancer who can work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working remotely
- 3+ years' experience in residential conveyancing
- Experience as a FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer is advantageous, although experienced non-qualified conveyancers will also be considered
- A strong track record of managing a residential conveyancing caseload
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
- Good IT skills and confidence working with legal case management systems
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- A genuine desire to contribute to the continued growth of a successful property team
Experience of mentoring or training junior members of a team would be beneficial but is not essential.
