Job Title: Housing Caseworker
Location: Stratford, London E15
Salary - Up to £50,000

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and committed Housing Caseworker to join a well-established Community Law Team with expertise across a broad range of social welfare law, including housing and debt, community care, and mental health. The team has a strong reputation in housing law, having led significant cases over the past two decades, and is recognised by leading legal directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and assistance on a range of housing law matters
• Manage a caseload, including litigation where appropriate
• Support clients facing housing issues, including homelessness, eviction, and disrepair
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Community Law Team
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with relevant procedures
• Contribute to the continued development of the housing law practice

Person Specification:

• Some knowledge and experience of housing law and litigation (desirable)
• Strong organisational and case management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to social justice and supporting vulnerable clients
