Location: Ellesmere Port

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from instruction through to conclusion, delivering excellent client care while ensuring claims are progressed efficiently and in accordance with procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims
- Progressing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and witness statements
- Conducting legal research and reviewing evidence
- Providing clear legal advice and regular updates to clients
- Liaising with landlords, insurers, experts, Counsel, and third parties
- Preparing matters for court and attending hearings where required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, procedural rules, and firm policies
- Maintaining accurate file management and case records
About You
- Previous experience handling Housing Disrepair claims is preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Team player with a proactive and professional approach
- Law degree, LPC or equivalent legal qualification advantageous but not essential depending on experience
