Up to £60,000 (Based on experience, and PQE)

Puro Associates are looking for a committed Solicitor with Legal Aid Agency supervisor status to join a prominent law firm in East London. As the successful applicant you are required to have significant experience in housing law with a strong commitment to justice and a thorough understanding of the legal aid system.

The role:

• Maintain clear and regular communication with clients. correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy
• Efficiently manage all allocated casework
• Stay informed on legal developments, particularly within your areas of expertise.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
• Analyse legal issues and offer clients informed advice
• Provide supervision when needed to junior solicitors

About You:

• Ability to meet LAA supervisor requirements with strong working knowledge of the legal aid scheme
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills, with a natural ability to build effective relationships with clients
• Extensive knowledge of housing law
• Ability to prioritise your own workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Current Practising Certificate
• 3 years’+ PQE
