Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Insolvency Solicitor (NQ–5 years' PQE) to join a well-established and growing legal practice in Leeds.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will manage a varied caseload of restructuring and insolvency matters while developing your technical expertise and building strong client relationships. This role would suit someone with previous insolvency experience or a solicitor with transferable experience from corporate, commercial or dispute resolution who is looking to specialise in this area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of insolvency and restructuring matters from instruction to completion.
  • Advise clients on a range of corporate and personal insolvency matters.
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence and court applications.
  • Deliver excellent client care and keep clients informed throughout their matters.
  • Maintain files in line with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Accurately record time and work towards billing targets.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
  • Support business development initiatives and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate.

About You

You'll be a qualified Solicitor with between NQ and 5 years' PQE and possess:

  • Insolvency experience or strong transferable experience from litigation, corporate or commercial law.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, commercial and client-focused approach.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
