About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Insolvency Solicitor (NQ–5 years' PQE) to join a well-established and growing legal practice in Leeds.
Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will manage a varied caseload of restructuring and insolvency matters while developing your technical expertise and building strong client relationships. This role would suit someone with previous insolvency experience or a solicitor with transferable experience from corporate, commercial or dispute resolution who is looking to specialise in this area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of insolvency and restructuring matters from instruction to completion.
- Advise clients on a range of corporate and personal insolvency matters.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence and court applications.
- Deliver excellent client care and keep clients informed throughout their matters.
- Maintain files in line with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Accurately record time and work towards billing targets.
- Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
- Support business development initiatives and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate.
About You
You'll be a qualified Solicitor with between NQ and 5 years' PQE and possess:
- Insolvency experience or strong transferable experience from litigation, corporate or commercial law.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, commercial and client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
