Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE

An established and successful law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Litigation / Dispute Resolution Fee Earner to join its busy and growing team.

The role will involve a broad range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters for both individuals and businesses.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion, including:
- Civil litigation and dispute resolution.
- Debt recovery.
- Insolvency-related matters and financial disputes.
- Bankruptcy and associated advice.
- Landlord and tenant disputes.
- Residential property disputes.
- Disputes between private individuals.
- General commercial and contractual disputes.
- Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies and potential litigation.
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings and legal documentation.
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients where appropriate.
- Working towards agreed fee-earning and performance targets.
- Identifying opportunities for new business and developing existing client relationships.
The role does not cover Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence or Employment matters, which are handled by specialist teams within the wider firm.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Litigation Fee Earner / Dispute Resolution Solicitor with:
- Ideally 5–10 years' PQE, although relevant experience and ability will be considered.
- Strong experience across a broad range of civil litigation and dispute resolution.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently from start to finish.
- Strong technical and legal knowledge.
- A proven track record of meeting fee-earning targets.
- Excellent client-care and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- A commercially aware and pragmatic approach.
- The confidence to handle matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- An interest in developing existing relationships and generating new business.
The successful candidate will be someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of an existing caseload and become a valued member of the wider litigation team.
