Senior Associate - Litigation | Lead High-Value Disputes 

Are you a seasoned litigator ready to step into a senior role where your judgment, strategy and leadership will shape outcomes? A respected, growth-orientated firm is seeking a Senior Associate to lead on complex, high-value disputes across a range of sectors. This is a superb chance to own significant matters, work with senior stakeholders and influence the future direction of a busy litigation team.

The Role
As a Senior Associate you will:

  • Own a portfolio of complex, high-value litigation files from instruction through to resolution.
  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice to businesses and individuals on high-stakes disputes.
  • Conduct advocacy in the High Court and County Court and manage ADR processes such as mediation and arbitration.
  • Draft, review and negotiate key litigation documents (pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements).
  • Devise robust litigation strategies aligned to clients’ commercial objectives.
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior fee-earners and trainees to deliver high quality work.
  • Build trusted client relationships and act as a senior point of contact on sensitive matters.
  • Work closely with partners to win new instructions and support the team’s growth initiatives.

About You
You will ideally have:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor of England & Wales with 8 -10+ years PQE in litigation.
  • A demonstrable track record handling complex commercial disputes.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting capabilities.
  • Confident knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and practical litigation tactics.
  • Experience from a top-tier firm or respected in-house legal team is advantageous.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to translate legal strategy into business outcomes.
  • Ambition, initiative and a desire to play a central role in shaping the litigation practice.
