Senior Associate - Litigation | Lead High-Value Disputes

A respected, growth-orientated firm is seeking a Senior Associate to lead on complex, high-value disputes across a range of sectors. The Role
As a Senior Associate you will:
- Own a portfolio of complex, high-value litigation files from instruction through to resolution.
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice to businesses and individuals on high-stakes disputes.
- Conduct advocacy in the High Court and County Court and manage ADR processes such as mediation and arbitration.
- Draft, review and negotiate key litigation documents (pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements).
- Devise robust litigation strategies aligned to clients’ commercial objectives.
- Supervise, coach and develop junior fee-earners and trainees to deliver high quality work.
- Build trusted client relationships and act as a senior point of contact on sensitive matters.
- Work closely with partners to win new instructions and support the team’s growth initiatives.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor of England & Wales with 8 -10+ years PQE in litigation.
- A demonstrable track record handling complex commercial disputes.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting capabilities.
- Confident knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and practical litigation tactics.
- Experience from a top-tier firm or respected in-house legal team is advantageous.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to translate legal strategy into business outcomes.
- Ambition, initiative and a desire to play a central role in shaping the litigation practice.
