An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join a small, close-knit team in Hayes. This role is perfect for a motivated solicitor seeking to develop their litigation career while managing a varied caseload in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of your own caseload and assist with more complex matters, focusing primarily on landlord and tenant disputes. The role also provides the chance to gain experience in residential and commercial property matters, including conveyancing, which is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle landlord and tenant litigation matters, including possession claims, lease disputes, and forfeiture.
- Manage files independently from instruction through to resolution.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documentation.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings as required.
- Provide clear, commercially aware advice to clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 1+ years PQE in litigation.
- Proven experience in landlord and tenant disputes is essential.
- Conveyancing experience is desirable.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Motivated, client-focused, and able to thrive in a small team environment.
