A growing accountancy practice in Manchester is looking for an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to lead their tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional who enjoys working with a varied client base and is ready to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of corporate and personal tax compliance services, support advisory work, and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax submissions
- Review work prepared by team members and provide technical support
- Support tax advisory projects and planning initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce new services
- Use technology to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ tax experience within an accountancy or professional services firm
- CTA qualified (or equivalent such as ACA/ACCA with strong tax knowledge)
- Previous management or supervisory experience essential
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Confident handling both corporate and personal tax work
