A growing accountancy practice in Bury is looking for an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to lead their tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional who enjoys working with a varied client base and is ready to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of corporate and personal tax compliance services, support advisory work, and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax submissions
  • Review work prepared by team members and provide technical support
  • Support tax advisory projects and planning initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce new services
  • Use technology to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years’ tax experience within an accountancy or professional services firm
  • CTA qualified (or equivalent such as ACA/ACCA with strong tax knowledge)
  • Previous management or supervisory experience essential
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Confident handling both corporate and personal tax work
