Key Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Assisting with audit assignments and audit file preparation
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Assisting clients with day-to-day accounting and financial queries
- Liaising with senior management and partners on client matters
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards
- Supporting process improvements and internal practice initiatives
Requirements
- Recently ACA / ACCA qualified
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong understanding of accounts preparation and VAT compliance
- Exposure to audit processes is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Eager to learn and progress within a practice setting
