Responsibilities of a Part Qualified Accountant include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Producing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Completing both corporate and personal tax computations and returns
- Monitoring key deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within set timeframes
- Providing clients with ongoing assistance, guidance, and practical accounting advice.
- Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior colleagues
- Taking responsibility for personal growth and continuously strengthening technical and professional skills.
What we are looking for in our ideal Part Qualified Accountant:
- Part qualified status (ACCA, ICAS or AAT)
- At least 2 years of experience within a UK Accountancy Practice.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Great communication skills and enjoy working in a team
- A genuine interest in supporting the success of local businesses
