Payroll Administrator
Salary up to £38K DOE
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Senior to join a leading accountancy practice based in Essex on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing business and take on a key role in the payroll team. If you have payroll experience in either an accountancy practice or bureau then we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients using Sage Payroll and other software as required
- Calculating and processing statutory deductions such as tax and national insurance
- Handling employee queries regarding pay and benefits
- Processing auto enrolment pensions on various softwares
- Preparing CIS returns
- Supporting junior members of the payroll team
- General admin duties
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience working in payroll in a UK accountancy practice or bureau
- Must have experience with a variety of payroll softwares, Sage payroll experience is required
- Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to deadlines
